Betty passed away peacefully, in her home, with her loving husband Ab and family by her side. Betty was predeceased by her mother Lil (Elizabeth) Sinton and her father Jack Sinton (Belfast Ireland). Betty will be dearly missed by her husband Albert (Ab) Dennis (68 years married) as well as her six children,  Bill (Jocelyn) Dennis, David (Mary Ann) Dennis, Ann (Ray) Kolstad, Michael (Monique) Dennis, Tim (Susi) Dennis and Steve (Genevieve) Dennis, 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Ab and Betty met in Toronto at a very young age and have been sweethearts ever since. Living in Toronto, Sudbury, Huntsville and Oshawa, Betty always considered North Bay home. Betty's life was full and very busy. Along with raising six children she found time to graduate from the University of Toronto with her Royal Conservatory of Music Degree and taught piano lessons in both Huntsville and North Bay.  Betty also served on the St. Joseph's Hospital Board and Auxiliary in North Bay for 18 years, and belonged to the Catholic Women's League both in Huntsville and the ProCathedral in North Bay.

While living in North Bay, and after all the children were grown, Betty decided she wasn't busy enough and began her 25 year career as a Certified Financial Planner with Investors Group along-side her husband Ab. Betty had a wonderful, full life and will be remembered by everyone who knew her for her caring spirit and her beautiful, dimpled smile.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Visitation: Thursday, June 29th,  2:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., North Bay. Funeral Mass: Friday, June 30th, 10:00 a.m. at Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, 480 McIntyre St. W., North Bay,

Dear Ab and Family,
Remembering you folks at this time of Betty's death. Fond memories of you as Marg and I look out at Lake Nipissing from the condo that was once your home. We enjoy your former space and I play the piano as Betty did in days of yore. Blessing and love and fond memories of a dear woman surround you.

Dear Ab, Tim and family,

I have very fond memories of Betty as a welcoming host to us teens when visiting your place for a swim or to occasionally work on some homework. Mom and dad always spoke highly of the Dennis' and of course we all know who is at the helm of any decent family. Keep you in our prayers!

Tim
