Watson Peter Murray Obituary

Peter passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with his son and close friends by his side on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at the age of 81 years.

He will be sadly missed by his son Andrew Murray as well as by his granddaughter Elissa Murray.

Peter will be remembered as a long-time businessman in North Bay.

Fond memories of his Chippewa Raiders Sr. Boys NOSSA Football Championship, of his many hours of playing and teaching tennis at the North Bay Granite Tennis Club and more recently his many hours of golf at mostly Highview and Osprey golf courses.

He will be missed by his many weekly drop in friends at his Nice Dreams Sleep Centre; Neil Brown, Tom Nodwell, Danny Smith, Gerry Paterson, Mark Rogerson, Frank Atwood, Rick and Nancy Carter, Jim Baxter and Garry Payne.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation in memory of Peter will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
