Brenda Mary (Malcolm) Jones

Jones, Brenda Mary (nee Malcolm) (1941-2019) - The family is sad to announce the passing of Brenda Jones on Sunday April 28th at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loving mother of Cathy Milne (Dave) of Innisfil, Carrie Jones-Ewald of Calgary and Christine Osborne (Kevin Reece) of North Bay. Cherished Gram of Kyle (fiancée Danielle Cyr) & Megan Milne (Rob), Matt & Nick Jones, Noah Ewald, Ashley, Jacklynn (Tristan) & Rebecca Osborne. Brenda will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Best friend of Valerie Croghan. Predeceased by husband Jack, her parents Everett Gerald and Mary Malcolm and her siblings: Beulah Osborne (Chuck-deceased), Shirley Cowden (Les–deceased), Geraldine McCauley (Walter-deceased), Everett Malcolm (Cathie-deceased) and Jerry Malcolm (Bev).

Brenda enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved spending special moments with her friends from Woodlands III.

Special thank you to Dr. Giordano, the nurses of C3 at the hospital and from Care Partners, also her fantastic PSWs Shelley and Mona.

Family will receive friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Thursday May 2nd from 2 until 4 pm and 7 until 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St Peter the Apostle church on Friday May 3rd at 2 pm.

Donations to the St Peter the Apostle church Building Fund or Needy Fund in Brenda’s memory will be gratefully acknowledged by the family. O
