YOUNG, Darlene Ann (June 1, 1962-January 7th, 2020) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darlene Young (nee Sampson) on January 7th, 2020 surrounded by loving family members.

Darlene was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she lived until 2018, before moving to Ontario. She had a huge love for knitting, baking, The Beatles, David Bowie and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Darlene was predeceased by her husband Timothy, Grandmother Julia Sampson (nee Perry), Grandfather Abraham Sampson and her three Uncles Gerry, Lawrence and Edward. Darlene is survived by her three children Melinda Young, Christopher Young, Jessica McGinn (Charlie), her Mother Jean, Brothers Michael and Bruce, Sisters Shelley and Tammy Johnson (nee Sampson). Darlene has two Grandsons Matthew & Marcus who were the light of her world and whom she loved very dearly.

A celebration of life will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia in July 2020.
