Donald Ross

 Donald George Ross   January 27, 1925-October 24, 2018

We sadly announce the passing our dear Don. Left to grieve is his partner and best friend of 25 years Roseanne Poirier. He leaves behind his children Donna (Mike), Mark (Tori) and Sean (Sandra). Fondly remembered by his step-daughters Judy (Gord), Christine (Jeff), Nora (Brad), Clara (John) and Laura (Darrell). He will be remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings Richard, Lee and Peg. Don was predeceased by his parents Amos and Christine Ross and siblings Bud and Cheryl. Don loved to be in the bush hunting with his buddy Ralph. Don was employed by the O.N.R. for many years until his retirement. In his younger years, he was also a mentor and a very patient bowling coach for many years at the Four Seasons Center. Friends may pay their respects at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport road, on Tuesday October 30th, from 7 until 9 pm. Don fought and won many battles with cancer. In this case of bereavement it also becomes a day of release. A man, a father, a brother, a grandfather and a fighter of a great battle many lose to. It’s time for you to fight no more and to let us battle it, in belief that it shall not take any others of your family. You were loved in life and in death. In heaven or on our next journey we will meet again.
