Emile Contant Obituary

Contant, Emile (1938-2019) – It is with sorrow that the Contant family announces the passing of Emile on Monday February 25th at the West Nipissing General Hospital at the age of 80 years.

Loving father to Joanne (Mike Smith) and Pierre (Thérèse Carrière). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Pierre-Marc and Catherine Contant. Also survived by the mother of his children, Rachelle (née Legault), as well as his friend Marie Gaudreau and his siblings Rolande (Del Thibeault deceased), Cecile (Armand Ranger), Roger (deceased), André (deceased), Aline (Al Sage), Helene (Stan Monaghan deceased), and Paulette.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Hillside Funeral Services.

Donations in memory of Emile to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
