Watters, Emmett Clayton (1934-2019) - Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness.
Predeceased by his parents Laura and Jack Watters. Also predeceased by his bothers Albert, Edward, Harvey, Joseph and Bernard and his sisters Marie, Edna and Norah.
Emmett is survived by his brother Francis, sister-in-law Rose-Aimée Dumais and many nieces and nephews.
Although he never served actively his heart and soul was everything military. He served as a military historian for the Canadian Forces Support Unit, was a past member of the Air Cadet League of Canada 547Squadron as well as the Royal Canadian Naval Veteran’s Association and the 406 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Force Alliance.
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Thursday February 28th, 2019 from 6 until 8 pm and Friday March 1st 2019 from 9 until 10:45 am. An R.C.A.F. speaker will be sharing a few words in Emmett’s honor at 10:45 am, a Celebration of Life will follow at 11 am.
The family would like to thank the Paramed Services, Parabus, and the staff in the Renal Unit of the NBRHC.
