Irene (Guillemette) Hotte

Irene Hotte (Guillemette) - Irene Hotte, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the Nipissing Manor nursing home in Callander, Ontario.

She was born August 21^st, 1931 to parents Raphael Guillemette and Anna (Menard) Guillemette. She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Gordon Clarke, husband Philippe Hotte, and sisters Noella (Louis) and Marie-Ange (Eddie), brothers Norman, Gerald (Evelyn), Claude, Ronald (Sharon) and Eugene (Yvette) and is survived by sisters Marie-Claire (Mark), Yvonne (Rheal), and brothers Roger (Yvonne) and Gabriel (Cecille).

Irene will be forever remembered by her six children, Gilbert, Sandra (Jim), Brian (Lori), Darlene (Mark), Norman (Tina) and Diane (Paul) and by her 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

The driving force throughout her lifetime was her children and family; always putting their needs ahead of her own. Her un-conditional love created an unbreakable family bond which is instilled in our souls forever.

A sincere thank you is extended to the staff of Nipissing Manor Nursing Home who provided great care for Irene. Your efforts are truly appreciated by the family, as they were by Irene.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, January 18^th at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Road. Visitation will be from 2pm to 4pm, with a funeral service at 4pm. The family invites you to join them for refreshments to be served after the service. Interment will take place at a later time in Astorville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
