Joffre (Jeff) Rochon

Rochon Joffre (Jeff) (1930-2019) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeff surrounded by his loving family at the Au Chateau Home for the Aged in his 89th year.

Beloved husband of 62 years to Viviane Rochon (Sarazin).  Cherished father to Sylvie (Don) Truchon and Denis Rochon all of Sturgeon Falls.  Grandfather to Jeffrey Rochon.  Caring brother of Joan Jeanne Hart (Late Frank), Vi (Andy) Amyot, and Veronica (Phil) Madigan. Predeceased by his parents Noël and Armandine (Giroux) Rochon as well as his brother Conrad Napoleon Rochon and his sister Mary Malloy (Late Doug).

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday August 29^th at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur in Sturgeon Falls at 2:00 pm. The family will greet friends at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery.

Donations to the Ladies Auxiliary (les Châtelaines) at the Au Chateau would be appreciated by his family. The family would like to thank the staff at the Au Chateau for the compassionate care given to Jeff.
