Joseph (Pete) Patrick Roger Kelly

Kelly, Joseph Patrick Roger (Pete) - Joseph Patrick Roger (Pete) Kelly of North Bay passed away peacefully, following a 3-year battle with cancer on November 18, 2018 at the age of 81 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Joyce (May) Kelly (nee Shortt).  Loving father to Theresa (Jay) Church of Heidelberg. Michael of North Bay. Proud Poppa to Devin (Becky) and Sarah Church, Brigitte and Liane Kelly. Joseph is also survived by sisters Helen, Lorretta, Louise and Theresa of Quebec City.

Born in Quebec City, Quebec, Joseph had a successful 36-year career with the RCAF retiring as a Warrant Officer in Air Defence. His life long mission was to have the ideal family unit. One that had love, respect and a contribution to society. He passed with no regrets since he accomplished his goals. He loved games and sports particularly golf, baseball, hockey and curling.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road, on Thursday November 22, 2018 between the hours of 2-4pm, & 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 299 Airport Rd, on Friday November 23, 2018 at 11am.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Multiple Sclerosis Society in lieu of Flowers.
