Lucien Jobin Obituary

Jobin, Lucien (1934 -2019) - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Lucien Roland Jobin on Monday, August 26 2019 at the age of 85.

Husband of 65 years to Yolande (nee Lecuyer). Father to Suzanne Beaulieu (Conrad), Richard (predeceased), Claudette Laferrière (predeceased), Ronald (predeceased) and Roland (Christine McQueen). Lucien was pépère to 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Leo and his sister Marie Drouin. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He will be missed by his dog “Sable”.

Lou will be remembered as a great carpenter. Lou was happiest spending time on his property, cutting wood in the back by the Sugar Shack. He spent countless mornings feeding and watching the deer while having his coffee with his wife at his side. Lou always had a story or two to share with anyone who would listen. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Thank you to all the staff who showed compassion and care during the month Lou stayed at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Keeping with Lou’s wishes there will be no visitation a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted with HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES. The family would appreciate donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre – Cancer Care unit.
