Marcel Laurent Deschamps

Deschamps, Marcel Laurent (1942-2019) It is with heavy hearts the family announces his unexpected passing in his 78th year. He passed peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre surrounded by his loving family on December 11th, 2019.

 Predeceased by his parents Conrad Sr. and Aurore (Nee Leduc) Deschamps and stepmother Edna (Nee Adams), as well as his two brothers Ronald and Conrad Jr.. Proud and loving father of Steven of North Bay, Jennifer (Kevin) of Winnipeg, Marleigh, and Ryan (Ann-Marie) both of North Bay. Loving grandfather of Maggie, Ethan, Eston and McKynleigh. Leaving behind Leighan (Nee Hicks) Deschamps mother of Marleigh and Ryan. Survived by his younger sister Paulette Brydle (Wayne) of North Bay.

Marcel was known for being a hard working man with many projects on the go, however he also really enjoyed a nice day on the lake fishing, followed by a nice shot of whisky at night.
Marcel had a generous heart and we could always count on him to bring us smiles and laughter. Marcel touched many lives and we are grateful for all the special memories we were able to share with him.
The family is receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services on Tuesday, December 17th from 11 am until 1 pm for a memorial visitation.  A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm, also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Local North Bay Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
