Norma Gibb Obituary

Gibb, Norma Gail (nee MacJanet) August 9th 1940-September 26th 2018

In loving memory of Norma Gail Gibb who passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre September 26th 2018 surrounded by her family.

Beloved wife of James B. Gibb of sixty years. Survived by her 4 children, Brenda Reuben (Paul), Sharon Lacasse (Marcel), Jim (Debbie), and George (Lorraine). Survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother George MacJanet (wife Cecile) and her extended daughter Melodie Walker and her 3 children.

Predeceased by her parents George and Ivy MacJanet, infant son Bobby and grandson Phillip.

Gail worked for 35 years at the A&P in Timmins.

After retirement she and her husband moved to North Bay and enjoyed being on Trout Lake.

Special thanks to all the staff on C1 for their extraordinary care. Special thanks to Mike Scott (Gail’s Pest) and PSW Todd who made mom laugh every day.Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre (C1 stroke unit) will be greatly appreciated. There will be no funeral as per mom’s wishes.
