Raymond Foisy

FOISY, RAYMOND (1940-2018) - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ray Foisy, announce his sudden passing on Thursday May 31, 2018.

Ray was born June 1^st, 1940.  He is survived by his wife Gail (Villeneuve), sons Jeff of North Bay and Brad (Jennifer) of Hamilton.  Loving grandfather of Carter Foisy, and Jeffery Berthelette.  Sadly missed by LeeAnne, Brett, Jake and Legend.  Also survived by his sisters Theresa (Late Ivan), and Jackie (Late Cletus), all of Sault Ste-Marie, and his brother Donnie (Late Connie) of North Bay.   

Predeceased by his parents Theodule and Blanche Foisy, brothers Rolly, Robet (Jacqueline), Conrad (Ruth), Morris (Judy), Gerry (Lauraine), and Albert.  Also sisters Marg (Frank), Lucy (Merle) and Alice.

Brother-in-law to Audrey Legault (Late Roger), June and Ted Couchie, Shirley Laporte (Late Bud), Claudette Villeneuve, Ron and Janet Villeneuve. Predeceased by Gerry Villeneuve, Mort and Lois Baxter, Lee and Tom Ormerod, Clifford (Merle), Del (Barb) and Leo (Claire). 

Sadly missed by many neices and nepfews.

Ray worked at R.A. Warren Equipment for 20 years and retired in later years from the North Bay Golf Course.

Ray loved sports and was inducted into the North Bay Hall of Fame for fastball.

Ray and Gail camped at South Shore Camping where they enjoyed wonderful summers with family and friends.

Ray’s wishes were to only have a funeral mass which will be held at St-Peter the Apostle Church on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
