Ronald Eckensviller

Eckensviller, Ronald (1936 – 2019) – It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing at his residence on Monday December 30, 2019 with his loving family by his side.

Ronald was the loving husband of 54 years to Claudette (nee Robillard). Proud father to Keith (Heidi). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Karli, Erik and Zack. Also survived by his brother Bob (Barb), sister Bev Miller and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant son Brian, his parents Sebastien & Frances of Powassan and older sister Eileen.

Ron enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking, playing cards, model railroading and being with friends and family.  Ronald was an active member of the 422 Wing RCAF Association.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Thursday January 2^nd, 2020 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Peter the Apostle Church on Friday January 3rd  at 10 am.  

Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Ronald would be appreciated by his family.
