Ronald Herbert Etches

Etches, Ronald H (1936-2018) -  It is with great sorrow and regret we announce his passing with his wife Jeannette and sister-in-law Aline Reynolds by his side on Saturday September 1, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

He is survived by the love of his life Jeannette whom he was married to for 54 years and always called her “Hon” and always looked at her with his loving eyes.

Ron was predeceased by his parents Hilda and Thomas Etches, sisters Lillian (John deceased) and Joan (Bud).

He is survived by his brothers Rick (Fay deceased), Don, Tom (Sandy), Wayne (Mary) and sisters Elsie (Jack deceased) and Gloria (Archie).

He was well loved by his mother-in-law Rita Cantin (97 years).

Ron was a great provider and hard working man. He built the home we are residing in many years ago. He will be greatly missed by all his nieces, nephews and also by our neighbours.

Ron always took the time to chat with people and was never lost for words. He always had a lot of stories to tell.

I would like to thank all the nurses that attended to my husband on C1-13. Thank you for giving him such good care.

Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., on Friday September 7th from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 3 pm.

Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre in memory of Ron will be gratefully acknowledged.
