Roy Adams

Adams, Roy Thomas (1921-2018) - Beloved husband of the late Freda Adams (nee Riopelle). Loving father of Beverly Colyer (Jim predeceased), Wayne (Diane) and Michael (Dorothy) and predeceased by his daughter Beverly Anne. He will be dearly missed by his 9 grandchildren Robbie, Jennifer, Aaron, Tyler, Sam, Mikey, Rick, Trevor, Lisa and 15 great grandchildren.

Roy enlisted with the Algonquin Regiment in 1938 and went overseas in the Second World War from 1940 -1945. After the war, he went back to MacDonald Beverage (Coke) as production manager for one year. He wasn’t happy working inside so he went to Silverwood Dairy and went the wholesale route for five years then accepted the job of manager for 7UP for 14 years. Next he went to Garland Beverages as sales manager. He took the offer as manager of Kist Beverages for one year in Stratford, then to London as manager for the Pop Shoppe for three years then back to Garland Beverages as public relations and at last assistant manager where he spent 40 years in the bottling business.

Roy belonged to the Kinsmen Club then the K40 Club. He was a legion member since 1946 and also a member of the A.C.T since 1975.

There will be a small service at the All Saints Mausoleum at a future date. Cremation has taken place.
