Ruby Singleton Obituary

Singleton, Ruby (nee Whalley) 1930-2017 - Ruby passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on April 12, 2017 at the age of 87 yrs.

She was the loving wife to James Singleton. Cherished mother to James of Englehart and Bob (Debbie) of North Bay.

Predeceased by her daughter Deborah Beaudry.

She will be sadly missed by her granddaughter Kimberly French (Mark) of Calgary, AB. Also survived by her brother Charles Whalley (Pat) of St. Catherines, ON.

Predeceased by her brothers William & Floyd Whalley.

Prior to marriage, Ruby worked for O.N. Telecommunications as a long distance operator. She occasionally worked in the spooky attic of Cobalt Station, all alone from 11 to 7, sometimes being mentioned by Nugget reporter John Hunt.

Keeping with Ruby’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to Hillside Funeral Services.
