Violet Malcolm Obituary

Malcolm, Violet Irene (1916 – 2018) - Our dear mother passed away peacefully at Cassellhome with her four boys at her side on May 2nd at the age of 101.

She was predeceased by her daughter Marlene and her husband Ian. Dear mother to Ian (Amy), Brian (Annette), Wayne and Grant (Noi). Violet was a loving and fun grandmother to Ronald, Donald, Kevin, Tammy, Sandi Davies, Darin, Eric, Dyann, Alana and 14 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

She was born in Toronto and lived most of her life in Nipissing Junction where she was fondly remembered by all the neighborhood children.

Violet was a hard working mom spending over 20 years as an RNA at the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital.

Special thanks to Cora, Christine and all the staff at Cassellhome who provided such exceptional and loving care.

A celebration of our mom's life will be held in July.
