William Hilliard Morris

Morris,  William Hilliard (1953 - 2019) – It is with great sadness that the Morris family announces the peaceful passing of Bill on March 15, 2019 with his  family by his side.

Beloved husband and best friend of Cathy for 45 fun  years. Loving father of Derek (Christine) and Angela (Ciaran). He will be sadly missed by his cherished grandchildren Hayden & Nora and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by his siblings Aldamar 'Hap' Smith (Ada) and Julie Kirkpatrick (Bill) and his parents Walter and Ester Morris.

Bill was blessed with a wide network of friends from former work colleagues, his hunting and fishing crews and friendships that were established  after many years in Northern Ontario hockey rinks. 

The family wants to acknowledge the great support they received from Bill's doctors and nurses, Dr. Brian Shaw, Dr. Katie Shaw and the nurses from  Care Partners, Megan and Shelby.  

The family would also like to acknowledge and thank Phil Goulais and Elder Evelyn McLeod for their traditional Anishinabe guidance in helping Bill  on his journey.

A visitation will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Wednesday March 20th from 10 am until 11 am. A celebration of Bill’s life will follow at 11 am at the funeral home, followed by a reception at the Davedi Club.

would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
