William (Bill) Wallace Obituary

Wallace, William (Bill) Harry – passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on June 16th, 2018 at the age of 72 yrs.

Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Denise Contant-Wallace. She was the love of his life. Loving father to Travis Wallace and step-father to Robert (deceased) and Barry Sheffield. Very special Poppa to Brianne Hummel, Ashley & Kaleb Sheffield and Cian Wallace. Dear brother of Irene Daly (Herbert) and the late Ann Kerr (Rolly – also deceased), and brother-in-law to Daniel Contant (Lesley).

Lovingly remembered by David Kowch (Jennifer), Patricia Kowch, Jillian Contant-Trnka (Dan) & Shawn Contant. Dear uncle to Tim Daly (Nancy), Laura Trottier (David) & Christine Daly-Stevens (Mark). Tenecia, Sheriece, Kasandra, Noah, & Grace will always remember his laughter and antics.

Also predeceased by his parents Harry & Thelma Wallace, step-mother Lillian Wallace, his beloved infant daughter April Dawn (Never Forgotten) & his special sister-in-law Claudette Contant.

Bill was an avid golfer (his friends at Pinewood Park Golf Course will miss him on Senior Wednesdays. He was also a well known baseball and hockey player over the years.

A special thank you to his friends in the ONR building for their loving care of Bill, to the staff on 3B who took such great care of him while in hospital, and especially to Dr. Leckie who gave more than 100% to Bill’s care over the past few years.

As per his wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Final resting place will be at the All Saints Mausoleum.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre would be greatly appreciated.

Rest in peace until we meet again.
