Albert Viateur Fichault

Fichault, Albert Viateur - It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Albert Viateur Fichault on Wednesday May 18^th, 2022 at the age of 89 (1933-2022).

Albert was well known through his community and surrounding. He loved politics, he worked and volunteer with the politicians. He worked and served as a councillor for the township of Bonfield. Albert was a member of Chamber of Commerce and on the Committee of Bonfield Fall Fair. Albert received a medal of honor from the Government. Albert worked for twelve years at Red-E-Mix Company.

He loved working with his horses on the farm. Albert enjoyed giving sleigh ride to people, events and private gathering. His passion was farming for all his life. Most of all Albert was most known for his weather prediction. Mother Nature was always his guidance. Albert was called or ask to predict the weather from radio station across Canada and United State, was interview from newspaper, t.v. station, radio station (CBC Radio Canada) and had a documentary of how accurate his predictions was.

Albert Viateur will reunite with his beloved wife Archange Lorette (Gauthier) Fichault married for 63 years, and his son Normand (Lorraine - surviving), and Marie (infant).

With great sadness Albert will also leave behind a son and daughters, Claudette Ranger (late Paul), Albert Paul (Anna), Louise Ranger, Nicole Goode & Carole, 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. Dear Brother of Angelique Thibault (Gilles) and Esnestine Bouchard (Ernest). Predeceased by his parents Albert Sr. and Alma (Poliquin) Fichault, brothers Joseph (infant), Jean-Baptiste, Eugene Joseph (survive Jeannette), Leon (Yvette), sisters Madeleine Young, Albertine Laferriere (Ernest), Leocadie Marie Patrie, Marianna (Olesime) Gauthier, and Alma (infant).

The family would like to thank Dr. Rebekah King, Dr. Michael Leckie, Staffs at the Home Community Care LHIN, Staffs at the Palliative Care, Staff at the ParaMed, Nurses and Staff at the General Hospital Floor C1, Staff at the VON-Annie, Staffs at the PSW-Louise Vaillancourt and Phil’s Pharmacy- Ranjan Rupal and Lynn and the staff of Hillside Funeral Services.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès d'Albert Viateur Fichault survenu le mercredi 18 mai à l'âge de 89 ans (1933-2022).

Albert était bien connu dans sa communauté et ses environs. Il aimait la politique, il travaillait et faisait du bénévolat avec les politiciens. Il a travaillé et servi comme conseiller pour le canton de Bonfield. Albert était membre de la chambre de commerce et du comité de la foire d'automne de Bonfield. Albert a reçu une médaille d'honneur du gouvernement. Albert a travaillé pendant douze ans chez la Companie Red-E-Mix.

Il aimait travailler avec ses chevaux à la ferme. Albert aimait donner des promenades en traîneau aux gens, aux événements et aux rassemblements privés. Sa passion a été l'agriculture toute sa vie. Surtout, Albert était surtout connu pour ses prévisions météorologiques. Mère Nature a toujours été son guide. Albert a été appelé ou a demandé de prédire la météo à partir d'une station de radio localisée à travers le Canada et les États-Unis, a été interviewé par le journal, t.v. station, station de radio (CBC Radio Canada) et avait un documentaire sur la précision de ses prédictions.

Albert Viateur retrouvera sa défunte épouse Archange Lorette (Gauthier) Fichault marié depuis 63 ans ainsi que son fils Normand (Lorraine - survivante) et Marie (nourrisson).

Avec beaucoup de tristesse, Albert laissera un fils et des filles, Claudette Ranger (feu Paul), Albert Paul (Anna), Louise Ranger, Nicole Goode & Carole, 16 petits-enfants, 18 arrière-petits-enfants. Cher frère d'Angélique Thibault (Gilles) et Esnetine Bouchard (Ernest).

Prédécédé par ses parents Albert Sr et Alma (Poliquin) Fichault, ses frères Joseph (nourrisson), Jean-Baptiste, Eugene Joseph (survivent Jeannette), Leon (Yvette); ses soeurs Madeleine Young, Albertine Laferriere (Ernest), Leocadie Marie Patrie, Marianna (Olesime) Gauthier et Alma (nourrisson).

La famille tient à remercier le Dr. Rebekah King, Dr. Michael Leckie, le personnel du LHIN de soins communautaires à domicile, le personnel des soins palliatifs, Personnel du ParaMed, Infirmiers et Personnel de l'Hôpital Général Étage C1, le personnel du VON-Annie, le personnel du PSW-Louise Vaillancourt et Phil’s Pharmacy - Ranjan Rupal et Lynn et le personnel de l’Établissement funéraire Hillside.

Selon ses souhaits il n'y aura pas de visites, l’incinération a eu lieu et un service aura lieu à une date ultérieure.

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la mémoire d'Albert Viateur Fichault à la Société d'aide à l'enfance de Nipissing.
