Alma was always proud to tell you she was born and raised on St. Joseph's Island.  In 1953 she joined the Royal Canadian Airforce where she met and married her best friend, Bill Winsor.

During their years together, they lived in many places across Canada making every posting a new home, until retiring in North Bay.

Alma was well known to many for her talents of sewing, knitting and quilting.  She was always ready to give advice to whoever asked, and many were lucky enough to be the recipient of her talent.

Some of the best times were spent with family and friends at her favorite place, Killbear Park.  This tradition started in 1965 and is carried on by her family to this day.

"A thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever" Our sweet, lovable, pretty, patient, kind, thoughtful, funny, industrious Alma. Love you always.
