Anna (Lepage) Brisson

Brisson, Anna (May 6, 1931 - October 21, 2021)
 
It is with great sadness that Anna's family announces her passing in her 91st year on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre . Her loving family was by her side.

She was the beloved wife of 62 years to Roland and cherished mother to Rollande.

Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Anna Lepage (Taillefer), her sister Irene Lepage, her brothers Hector(Margaret) and Roland(Gisele).

She will be deeply missed and remembered by her many nieces and nephews and very close friends.

Anna worked for several years at Ben’s supermarket and the A&P grocery store at the corner of Main and Algonquin and then on King Street in North Bay. She was a very active member of the Holy Angels Parish. She took great pride in being part of the church choir as well she and Rolly maintained the historical archives of the parish. Anna was always welcoming to everyone she knew and who came to her home tempting them with delicious goodies. She had a wicked sense of humor and had a great love of life and family, being affectionately known as “Auntie” to many.

Roland and Rollande would like to thank Dr Michael Leckie and the staff at the Near North Medical Clinic for Anna's care over the years and Dr Mike especially for being there right to the end. Thank you to all the PSWs at the VON and Care Partner nurses for their endless dedication and compassion. Words will never be enough.

Family will be receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Saturday October 30th between 10 am and 12 pm with the celebration of life to follow.

All social distancing measures must be adhered to and respected and masks are required. The number of participants will be limited.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory can be made towards the Nipissing Serenity Hospice. 

Brisson, Anna – c’est avec tristesse que la famille Brisson annonce le décès d’Anna survenu le jeudi 21 octobre 2021 au Centre régional de santé de North Bay, dans sa 91ieme année.

Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux de 62 ans Roland et sa fille bien-aimée, Rollande. Prédécédée par ses parents, Arthur et Anna Lepage (Taillefer), sa soeur Irene Lepage, et ses frères Hector (Margaret) et Roland (Gisele). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses nièces et neveux ainsi que ses nombreux amis.

Anna a travaillé pendant plusieurs années a Ben’s Supermarket et ensuite au A & P au centre-ville de North Bay. Elle était très fière de participer dans la chorale de la Paroisse St. Anges et elle et Roland maintenaient les records historiques de la Paroisse. Anna aimait toujours rire de bon coeur et elle était accommodante a tout ceux qui venait la visiter. Elle gâtait les gens avec ses repas délicieux. Elle était la "ma tante" de tous.

Roland et Rollande veulent remercier le docteur Leckie et son personnel pour les soins que Anna a reçu au cours des années. Un gros merci à toutes les travailleuses de soutien personnel et les gardes malade.

La famille Brisson recevra parents et amis au salon funéraire Hillside le samedi 30 octobre, 2021 de 10hrs à 12hrs. Le service funéraire suivra à 12hrs.  Les consignes sanitaires seront observées donc les masques seront obligatoires, la distance sociale sera respectée et le nombres de participants sera limité.

Au lieu de fleurs, vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Maison Sérénité du Nipissing.
