Gauthier, Arlene (nee Stone)

Passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday October 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Arlene was a loving wife and the best Mom ever. She had the habit of putting others first and lovingly tending to the needs of her family. She loved playing games and was known as the family’s card shark. She loved cooking the most tasty meals for those dear to her. She had many talents and provided beautiful items as keepsakes. Her humour, laughter and smile, which was present right to the end, will be fondly remembered by all. Her last wish was for her family and friends to smile….no tears.

She was predeceased by her husband Louis, her son John and her grandson Kevin Van Lith. Beloved mother of James (Paulette), Joseph (Francine), Candace (Albert Van Lith) and Crystal (Michel Tourville). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew, Mark, Luc, Julia, Danielle, Amanda, Shawn, Corey, Gloria, Heidi, John, Stefanie, Sebastian, Matthew (a.k.a Buddy), Tyler and also by her 16 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sister Bette Wakevainen.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd. on Wednesday October 22nd, 2025 from 10am until time of service at 12 noon. Burial at St Thomas' d'Aquin cemetery in Astorville to follow.
