Aurel Deschamps

Deschamps, Aurel Napoleon (1943-2019) - The family is saddened to announce the passing of Aurel who passed at his home in River Valley, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. 

Beloved husband of 42 years to Carol (nee Stanley). Proud father of Fred (Tina), Steven (Jackie), Donna, Sandra, Keith (Cindy), Jeff (Mary), and Aurel Jr. (Katherine). He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Also survived by his brother Leo Deschamps. Predeceased by his parents Napoleon and Jeanne Deschamps as well as his siblings Gilbert, Richard, Eddie, Raymond and Yolande.

An avid outdoorsman, Aurel loved hunting, fishing and just being outside. A proud jack-of-all trades and never afraid of work, typically it was his way or the HWY.  

The family is receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on November 24th, 2019 from 10 am until 12 noon. With a celebration of his life to follow.
