Croswell, Barbara (1935-2021)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her peaceful passing on Sunday December 19th, 2021 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre in her 87th year with her loving family by her side. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Bill (2019). She was the cherished mother to Brenda (Jim), Susan (Janice), David (Elaine) and Michael (Darlene). Nanny to 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her sister Judy.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Barbara spent 10 years working with the Sisters of St. Joseph which she loved and where she developed lifelong friends. Barbara also spent many years volunteering as the Secretary of the West Ferris Ladies Recreation Association and endless support to West Ferris Ringette. We will forever miss her warm and welcoming soul.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A committal service will be held in the spring.

Donations in Barbara’s memory can be made towards the St. Joseph Mother House or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
