Barbara Devitt

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of our beautiful mother, Barbara Jean Devitt.

Barb passed away surrounded by the love and presence of her family at Eastholme on November 19, 2021 in her 83rd year.  She has been re-united with her husband Gord, sister, brother, and parents.

She was the beloved and cherished mother to Terry Purser, Karen Floyd, and Debra Poeta (John). She adored her grandchildren: Kylie Floyd, Karah Floyd, Jesse Purser, Amanda Poeta, Courtney Poeta, Brad Poeta, and Sarah Poeta.

Our mother loved to spend her time cooking, baking, knitting, sewing and spending winters at her Florida residence with her husband.  Most of all she loved spending time being surrounded by her family.  She had her masters in shopping and one liners.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  If desired memorial donations to Eastholme Residents Fund, Crisis Centre or Charity of choice.
