Barbara Anne (Latimer) Kirton

Kirton, Barbara- It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Barbara Anne Kirton, on the morning of January 5, 2022 at the age of 87, with her daughter by her side.

Barb was the beloved wife of Alfred Kirton (predeceased 2011) as well as the youngest sibling to Ted and Eleanor (both predeceased). She was the loving mother of Jim (Maggie), Bill and Anne St.Onge (Denis). Cherished grandmother of Kimberly (Mike), Valerie (Luke), Sherri (Francis), Crystal (Jay), Greg (Katie) and Jenny (Kevin), as well as the proud great grandmother to Kiptyn, Mailk, Kali, Baleigh and Laucklan.

She enjoyed the simple things in life. If she wasn’t spending time with her family, you could find her feeding the animals that would find their way to her property, spending time puttering around in her gardens and flowerbeds, baking with her grandkids, spending time at the camp with her family and friends fishing.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her closes friends who have been there to offer their love and support over the years. As well, a special thank you goes out to Dr. Cuncins and the staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for the compassion and care that they provided when she needed it most.

Respecting her wishes, there will be no service or visitation; however, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
