Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday May 26th, 2025 at the age of 68.
 
Devoted husband of Diane (nee Baran) of 47 years. Beloved father of Christopher (predeceased), Jeff (Beck-predeceased), Jen (Dane), and Adam. Loving grandpa to Olivia, Pyper, Hunter, Hayleigh, Brooklyn and Coleson. Brian is survived by his sisters Joann(Jim) and Carol (Kevin). Predeceased by parents Clayton and Anne Dougall, his brother John(Jane-surviving), sister Bev (Terry-surviving), father and mother-in-law Jerry and Norma Baran, sister-in-law Leanne (Rob-surviving), and his brother-in-law Dennis.  He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and many great friends.
 

Brian was a fishing guide for over 50 years, and became known as The Legend; if he wasn't catching fish, nobody was.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Humane Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
