Brian Nelles Obituary

It is with heavy hearts the family wishes to announce the sudden passing of Brian Nelles (67), beloved son of Elsie Chapman and the late Bill Nelles, and Charles Chapman (deceased).

Brian was the devoted husband of Kimberly (Robinson) and the late Pat Nelles, and a proud father of Tracy Mirza (Shahead), Aaron (Jacyntha), Joshua, and Cordell (Bre). He was a cherished grandfather to Madison, Xavier, David, Delilah, Rahim, and Carter, who brought immense joy and laughter to his life.

Brian proudly served his country as a veteran and was a dedicated member of the Callander Legion, where he enjoyed playing darts and built friendships over the years.

He was a professional pool player for over 25 years at Partners Billiards and Bowling. He loved his pool family and we know he will be missed immensely.

He will be deeply missed by his twin brother Barry Nelles (Wendy) and his loving sisters Lucille McKenzie (John), Marie Paul (Duane), Stacy Attwood (Bryn), and Kimberly Chapman. He was predeceased by his sister Lynn White (Trent).
Brian will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends — and, as he’d like to say with a grin, his many girlfriends.

Brian had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace in fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. He also enjoyed playing pool and sharing laughter with those closest to him. Known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious sense of humor, Brian touched the lives of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Family receiving friends at the Indigenous Friendship Centre, 980 Cassells St., North Bay on Friday November 21st from 11 am until 2 pm. Donations to the food bank of choice in memory of  Brian will be gratefully acknowledged.
