It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife Carole Marshall (née Fortin) (1951 – 2022). Carole passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 70 years.
Carole was an optimist that had battled cancer for the last 10 years. She was the definition of resilience, strength and perseverance. The most important aspect of our mom’s life was the love she shared with her family. Mom meant so much to all! She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Our mother was an amazing role model, she touched our hearts in so many ways. Mom had many qualities however her humour, kindness, selfless manner, and natural positivity were the most remarkable. She made our world a much better place. Our mother will be forever missed by all of us. The love that she has shown, will live on in each one of us. Thank you so much mom for showing us all what true love looks like and what family really means. You are and will always remain our hero and our pillar of strength. We will truly be at a loss without you in our lives! We will forever love you!
She is survived by her husband Lloyd Marshall. She was a loving & caring mother to Tami Parsons (Brian Boutilier) and Stacy Marshall (Marc Boisvert). Grandma Carole will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren Sadiya, Oceana, Victoria & Camden. Also survived by her mother Beatrice Fortin and siblings Diane Earle (Basil), Pauline Fortin, Denise Fortin (Mitchel Allard), Pierre Fortin (Claudine) & Marc Fortin (Andree Pelchat). She was predeceased by her father Alphonse Fortin. She will be fondly remembered by her several nieces & nephews.
