Christal (Hollis) Ladouceur

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christal Margaret Hollis Ladouceur, who left us way too soon on October 31, 2025, at the age of 41.

Christal was a kind, caring, giving and fun loving, no b.s. kind of girl with a lot of spunk.  She worked hard and dedicated her career of over 20 years in helping others with special needs and assisting them in every way possible.  On her downtime she loved to cook and bake, playing games with the family, loved tanning on many of the beautiful beaches and lakes in the North Bay area and taking pictures of the breathtaking sunsets. 

Born on December 31, 1983.  She is the proud and devoted mother of Nathan and Taylor (Xen) Ladouceur, her greatest joys.  She will be deeply missed by her loving partner Steve Colyer.  She is the beloved daughter of William (Bill) Hollis and Lorraine Hollis (Stephen Martelle).  Christal will also be deeply missed by her siblings Geoffrey (Heather) and Andrew.  Christal is also lovingly remembered by Steve’s children Jack, Aiden, Declan and Eric, her nieces Monroe and Scarlett, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice, 799 John Street, North Bay, ON P1B 8T2 would be greatly appreciated. 

Rest in peace Christal, you will forever be in our hearts.

A celebration of life will take place at the Hillside Funeral Home at 362 Airport Road in North Bay on Wednesday November 5th at 2:00.

A second celebration of life will take place at Centre Charles Emile Claude 146b Chevrier Ave. in Cornwall on Saturday November 8th at 2:00.   

Please bring pictures for the family to see.  For those who would love to speak and share any special moments, the family would love to hear them.
