Christine’s family is announcing, with deep sorrow, the passing of their beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt on the morning of April 29, 2023 at the age of 73 years.
Christine was born on October 15th, 1949 to Elizabeth (“Betty”) and Ronald Boone in La Tuque, Quebec. She had 4 brothers, and as a military family they moved often during her childhood.
Christine met the love of her life, Cliff Sinclair in 1968 in Lahr, Germany. They soon married and their daughter Kerry was born in early 1969. The family returned to Canada and Diane joined the family in 1970.
Cliff and Christine lived a very joyous 46 years as a married couple, until Cliff’s untimely passing in 2015. They have now been reunited in peace and love.
All of those who knew and loved Christine understood the level of strength, courage, determination, love and loyalty that she possessed. She was generous to a fault and would help anyone who needed it. She taught us all how to fight through adversity and also how to “do it right the first time”. She was the best cook and baker, a wonderful knitter/sewer and was extremely artistic too!
Christine will be missed terribly by her two daughters Kerry (Pete) and Diane (Mel), brothers Ken (Sue) and Robert, grandchildren Megan (Jordan), Nicholas (Kate), Ashten (Mitchell), Alexandra (Tye), Cate and Hattie, and by her great-grandson Corbin. She had a large bounty of extended family and wonderful friends (from near and far!) who will certainly miss her too.
Christine was predeceased by her parents (Betty and Ron), brothers (Gordon and Wayne) and of course by her beloved Cliff. She will also be happy to be reunited with all of her adorable cocker spaniels that she loved so much, through the years.
The family would also like to thank Dr. Jinnah, the nurses at Care Partners and the PSW’s for their tremendous dedication to helping Mom live out her final weeks with grace, dignity, comfort and peace.
Donations in memory of Christine to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by her family.
‘Night God Bless Momma; we will love you to the moon and back, forever and always.
