Connie (McCurry) Zimbalatte

Connie Zimbalatte   June 23,1931-October 21, 2023

Connie passed away peacefully on October 21, 2023 with her family by her side. She will be missed by her daughters Mary Anne Brutto (Dan) and Joanne McLaughlin (Pat), her grandchildren David (Grace), Rosemary, Sam (Ashley) and Liam (MacKenzie), nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Connie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years Rocci, her dear son Stephen, her parents James and Kathleen McCurry and her sisters Margaret McCabe and Janet Lanos.

Connie was born and raised in North Bay. She was a faithful member of the Pro Cathedral Parish and proud Life Member (70 years) of the CWL. Over the years she was involved with the St Joseph's Hospital Auxilliary, Trefoil Guild and the IODE. She also enjoyed working and volunteering during Federal and Provincial elections.

Although she spent the past 4 years in Ottawa, she is very happy to be home.

Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd, on Thursday October 26th, 2023 from 7 until 9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday October 27th at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption at 10 am
