Dalbert (Del) Duquette (1937-2022)
It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Del Duquette at the age of 84 years at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday April 15, 2022.
Del was predeceased by his wife Lena (nee Cain), parents Mae and Fred and brothers Clement, Rene, Marcel, Gene and Lynn.
Del leaves behind his best friend and loving companion Patricia Langlois, daughters Susan (Barry), Lisa (Rob), granddaughters Kaitlyn (Steve), Lindsay (Paul) and two great granddaughters Emma and Brielle. He will be sadly missed by brother Vernon (Gloria) and sister Donna (Ken) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Del tried his hand at many different jobs over the years with his last being Service Manager at Superior Propane. He was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects or whatever else people needed him for. Del was an active member of St. Peter’s Church. All who knew him felt his calm, quiet and always caring manner. He loved playing cards, working in his garden and supporting the local TV Bingo.
Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd. on Tuesday April 19th from 2 until 4 pm and 7 until 9 pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Wednesday April 20th at 11am.
Donations to the North Bay Hospice in memory of Del will be gratefully appreciated.
