Daniel Josefowich

Dan passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 66 years, Elsie, son Mark, daughter Jill (Robert) Spina, and granddaughters Sylvia and Julia.

Dan was born in Brethour Township, Ontario on July 2, 1932, and has resided in North Bay since 1966.

He was a proud Life Member of the Widdifield Lions Club and longtime business owner of Danjo Truck Rentals. He served many years as a dedicated member and Chair of the Official Board and in the choir of Omond Memorial United Church, where he was involved in organizing many fundraisers and pork roasts.

Dan was predeceased by his parents Antony and Stephanie, and siblings Rose, John, Alec, Mike, Mary, Ann, Sue, Tom, Helen, Steph, Julie, and Jean. He is survived by brother Ted and sister Millie.

A special thanks to the C3 nursing staff of the North Bay Hospital for the exceptional care he received during his stay.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation at 10:00am on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at Omond Memorial United Church, 319 McKenzie Ave, North Bay, a funeral service at 11:00 and luncheon to follow.

Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation on Dan’s behalf would be appreciated.
