DANIEL RONALD LARMAND

June 14 1941- March 28 2025

It is with sorrow that the family announces the passing of Daniel Ronald Larmand at NBRHC, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83. 

Beloved son of the late Reginald Larmand and the late Leda Larmand (nee Bouffard).  Cherished husband of Claire Larmand (nee Arbour).  Dear father of Chantal Anderson (Bruce) of North Bay and Ronald Larmand (Melissa) also of North Bay. Proud grandfather of Kaitlyn Jackson, of Victoria B.C., Conrad Larmand and Emmet Larmand. He is survived by his siblings Claire Jones (Ted) of Astorville, Denise Rochefort (Andre) of Astorville, Madeleine O’ Connor (Ted, predeceased 1996) of Oshawa, as well as many nieces and nephews, predeceased by his brother Lawrence Larmand (2016) North Bay.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the dedicated, caring people who helped Dan and his family through his journey Dr. Inez Jinnah, Lori Bilz in palliative care, Dr. I Khan, Dr. P. Preston, Dr. D. Nelson, Dr. B. Buckley, PCP Mathew Starra, Tammy Draper RRT, Lori Smith occupational therapist with Ontario Health at Home, Father Larry Rymes from the Pro Cathedral, chaplain Jeff Archambault and to all the nursing staff on B3 as well as physiotherapist, occupational therapist, lab and x-ray technicians, and porters. 

As per Dan's request, there will be no services or visitations, cremation arrangements entrusted to Hillside Funeral Services.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille Larmand annonce le dècès de Daniel Ronald Larmand survenu au Centre régional de santé de North Bay, entouré de l’amour de sa famille.

Il était le fils de feu Reginald Larmand et de feu Leda Larmand (nee Bouffard). Il était l’époux bien-aimé de Claire Larmand (nee Arbour).  Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses chers enfants Chantal Anderson (Bruce) de North Bay et Ronald Larmand (Melissa) aussi de North Bay. Fier grand-papa de Kaitlyn Jackson, de Victoria B.C., Conrad Larmand et Emmet Larmand. Il laisse également dans le deuil ses sœurs Claire Jones (Ted) d’Astorville, Denise Rochefort (Andre) d’Astorville, et Madeleine O’ Connor (Ted, décédé, 1996) d’Oshawa ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par son frère Lawrence Larmand (2016).

La famille tient à exprimer ses sincères remerciements aux personnes dévouées et attentionnées qui ont aidé Dan et sa famille tout au long de son trajet Dr. Inez Jinnah, Lori Bilz des soins palliatifs, Dr. I Khan, Dr. P. Preston, Dr. D. Nelson, Dr. B. Buckley, PCP Mathew Starra, Tammy Draper RRT, Lori Smith ergothérapeute avec Ontario Health at Home, le Rév. Père Larry Rymes de la Pro-Cathedral, chapelain Jeff Archambault ainsi que tout le personnel infirmier du B3 ainsi que les physiothérapeutes, ergothérapeutes, les techniciens de laboratoire et de radiologie et les brancardiers.

Suivant les désirs de Daniel, aucune célébration de vie sera annoncée.
