Daniel Joseph Edy Leblond

Leblond, Daniel Joseph Edy ( 1944 – 2023) Daniel passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday September 1, 2023 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Delia Leblond, siblings Annette (John Rousselle), Alice (Geroge Trounsell), Aline (Maurice Dolbeck), Camille Leblond, Jeannine Contant and Yvonne (Raymond Danis). He is survived by his sister-in-law Joyce Leblond and several nieces and nephews.

Dan really enjoyed his job for the City of North Bay as grounds maintenance at the water front and loved being a Zamboni driver during the hockey season at Memorial Gardens. He worked for the City of North Bay for 35 years from January 1968 until January 2003.

He enjoyed watching the hockey games, weather it be at Memorial Gardens or on tv watching the habs. He also loved family gatherings. Dan liked going to the family camp to hunt and four wheeling. He also liked watching stock car racing at the North Bay Speedway.

We would like to thank Dr. Kistemaker, the caring nurses and psw’s of Cedar Lodge at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and the psw’s from the Community Support Services from Cassellholme.

His favourite sayings were “that’s right”, “not bad” and “I guess so”.

Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., on Saturday September 9, 2023 from 10 am until 12 noon, a celebration of his life will follow.
