Savage, Daniel (1947-2023)

It is with great sadness and relief that the family announce the passing of Daniel Savage. Daniel passed away at Cassellholme on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the age of 75 years.

He is survived by his sons, Daniel Jr. (Sandra) and Michel (Julie) all of Ottawa. Dear brother of Annette Savage of North Bay, Evelyn Swanstrom (Arnold, deceased) of B.C., Claudette Savage of North Bay, Marie Bennett (Rod) of Niagara Falls and Rose Ouellette (Roger, deceased) of Fonthill. Loving grandfather of Catherine, Philippe, Julien and Adrien and uncle to several nieces and nephews.  Daniel also has one surviving aunt Alene McNeil (nee Savage) of New Market.

He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Marguerite Savage, his sister Germaine Trudel and his brothers Philippe and Victor Savage. 

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place.  A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023 at 3 p.m. at  Sovereign Court  Building (7th floor - penthouse suite),  130 Worthington St. West.  A heartfelt thank you to the RN staff and support staff of the Apple floor at Cassellholme.

Donations to Cassellholme Home for the Aged in memory of Daniel will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
