It is with profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Darlene Tyre, age 56 years, on November 08, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survived by her husband Ray, sons Kyle and Tyler, sister Charlene (Andy), brothers Bob (Thelma), Doug, Dave (Mona), Wayne (Monique), brother-in law Mark, and her furry best friend Bella.
Predeceased by her parents Bob (1976), Shirley (2022) and her sister Marie (2019).
As per Darlene’s wishes, cremation will take place.
If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre – Cancer Care Unit in memory of Darlene will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
All who knew Darlene knew her heart was big enough for everyone. She often said she was fortunate to have several “families”. Ray was her rock and she was so proud of the men Tyler and Kyle have become. Even through her own recent struggles, she continued to help her family care for her Mom and make sure she had everything she needed. Her many nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart and she always managed to find time for them.
Her second family was her Home Care Family. Darlene truly found her calling as the owner of WeCare Home Care. Her compassion and dedication to all of those she took care of was evident in the manner she bonded with each and every person.
A celebration of life for Darlene Tyre will take place on February 18th 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Callander Legion.
Rest in peace.
