It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dave Blackall on June 10, 2022 at 81 years of age. Beloved husband of Genevieve for 60 years. Loving father of Greg (Kelly), John (Lee), Mark (Colleen) and Paul (Karen). Cherished Papa of Ashley (Chris), Natasha, Tina, Jenna (Rob), Samantha (Marc), Vanessa (Jon) and Jayden (Brittany). Dear great grandfather Devonte, Darious, Skyla, Genevieve, Anastasia, Conner, Wyatt and Robert. Survived by brother Richard (Linda) and brother- in- law Gerry Jackson. Predeceased by parents Ross and Lena, and siblings Elaine and Ronald.
 

Dave had retired from the City of North Bay City yard department, where he worked as a dedicated employee. He loved to watch hockey, cheering on his favourite team the Detroit Red Wings. Dave spent his years enjoying ice fishing, hunting at the camp, telling his grandchildren stories/jokes and relaxing in his hand-built gazebo, enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Nipissing. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

As per Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
