Denis Lamarche

It is with profound sadness the family of Denis (Joseph) Lamarche announce his passing. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family and loved ones February 16, 2024 at the age of 69.

He was the beloved husband Monique (Perron) of Astorville.  Loving father of Rob (Tracy) Lamarche and Nina (Casey) Hummel, adoring Pépère of Griffin, Wyatt, Ireland, Grayson and Ryanne. Predeceased by his mother and father Georgette and Rheal Lamarche also predeceased by his brothers and sisters Bob “Mouse” Lamarche, Rose (Doug) Cushing, Pierre and Michael Roberge and Diane Roberge, survived by his brothers and sisters Lorraine (Ron) St Pierre, Marcel (Karen) Lamarche, Glenda Hart, Rheal (Ginette) Roberge, Rachel (Dan) Baker and Sue (Luc) Danis. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends, the garage crew, and will be missed by his protege (The Boss) André Beaupré.

Denis was always known for being on the go and always having a new project, if you ever needed to find him, he’d most likely be in his garage, 3 PM would be “rye time” or has he would call it “a pop”. He was known for his infectious laugh and his larger than life generous heart. Always willing to help a neighbor, and give anybody the shirt off his own back, if it meant it would help somebody else. He was an old-school soul that valued his family more than anything. He had a great passion for hunting, fishing and camping in the summer or hanging out in his garage.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Corbeil Four Seasons Club on Saturday June 8th from 1 until 6pm. A toast in memory of Denis will held at 3:00 p.m. that day.
