Denis F. Raymond was a man of many talents and passions. From woodworking and building to countless other projects, he approached life with skill and creativity. He was a dedicated volunteer for the Township of Bonfield and enjoyed playing both baseball and hockey with the local teams.
Fishing and hunting were among his greatest joys, as well as spending time outdoors. Denis also worked as a machinist at Jarvis Clark and MTI, where his strong work ethic was well known.
On October 13, 1973, Denis married the love of his life, Denise (Bourdon). Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. His greatest joy was time spent with his family—his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Another favorite pastime was tending to his sugar shack, a place of pride and happiness.
Denis will be remembered by all who knew him for his kindness, dedication, and devotion to his family and friends.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Denise (Bourdon) Raymond; his loving children, daughter Teena Raymond (Andrew) and son Timmy Raymond (Tina). Cherished grandchildren include Jamie, Jeremy, Jazmin, and Olivia, and his treasured great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Jetson, and Jackson.
Denis is predeceased by his parents, Roland and Selma (Woodruff), and his sister Lorraine. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: Paul (Eveline), Rolly (Roselle), Romeo (Theresa), Carole, Noella, Evelyne, and Allan (Irène).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Parish Hall in Bonfield, Ontario.
Donations in memory of Denis to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (Kidney Care) would be greatly appreciated by his family.
“Go rest high, Denis. You will live forever in our hearts.”
