Donald Rogers

Rogers, Donald (1953 – 2020) Don passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday October 27, 2020 at the age of 67 years.

He was the beloved husband of Amanda Rogers (nee Lewis). Dear father of Lee (Audrey), Mark, Alissa Rogers and step-father to Steven (Chrystal) and Leslie (Chad). Papa Don will be fondly remembered by his nine grandchildren Linnea, Maija, Eeva, Brenden, Frankie, Nick, Blake, Jaden and Rachel. Also survived by his mother Mary Rogers, a brother Stephen (Adrienna) and a sister Christine (George). Predeceased by his father Ray.

Don was known to be the life of the party. Full of life, laughter and fun. Always living and breathing music, whether playing it on his guitar or blasting it however he could.

Don’s family meant the world to him. You could also count yourself lucky to be his friend. He was loving, caring and always willing to help. His children knew he could be counted on at a drop of a hat. Knowing we could talk, cry or laugh about anything, nothing was off limits.

His grandchildren were some of his proudest accomplishments. Well known to be crawling on the ground with them, playing, teaching them how to fix things or giving horsey or piggy back rides or sneaking them treats.

He was a true gentleman right to the end. In 2016, he met the love of his life Amanda, whom he lovingly called Babydoll. The two known to always be attached at the hip.

Pops, your legacy lives on by the way you lived and loved. You will never be forgotten.
