Donna Corbeil Obituary

Donna Grace Corbeil (n. Montgomery) passed away at North Bay Regional Health Centre Sunday, November 1st 2020 at the age of 58.

Donna will be sadly missed by her children Adam (Mary-Ann), Amanda (Ryan), and Sara, as well as her loving grandchildren, Ragan, Lucan, Mckenzie and Curtis. Also mourning her loss are her mother Isabell (Bob Stull) and siblings Allan Montgomery (Shirley), Bill Montgomery (Kathy), Peggy Haskins (Brian), and Robert Montgomery; as well as a large family of in-laws Kathy (Georges - dec.), Larry (Alice – dec.), Elise Hawken (Tom), Frank (Jan), Lou (Janet), Rhonda Lazarou (Phil), Bev Marois (Len) and Sharen Maas (Jack – dec.). She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who have held a special place in her heart. Lastly, she leaves behind her lifelong friend Christine Harriman-Maillet whose friendship she cherished.

Predeceased by her father, Harold, and her husband, Gilles. Through 39 years of marriage they were inseparable and are now together again.

Donna will be most remembered for her sharp sense of humour and love for her grandchildren. Nana had the best snuggles, and made the best chicken and potatoes. She loved them more…but they will always love her the most.

The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the medical and nursing staff of North Bay Regional Health Centre, as well as Health Sciences North Cardiac Medical Unit and ICU.

In keeping with her wishes, the family will not be holding a service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory can be made to Pet Save or the PADDLE Program.
