Doreen (Goodman) Demarco

Demarco, Doreen (nee Goodman) - The family of Doreen sadly announce her passing on June 13, 2022.

Doreen is survived by her son Christopher (Janet), her grandson Andrew (Bridget McImoyl) and her grand-daughter Carina, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children. She was dearly loved by all.

Doreen was born on August 20, 1923 to George and Lily Goodman in London England. She later relocated to North Bay, Ontario with her mother and her sister Peggy. She was one of the last surviving World War II brides as it was here that she met and married Sgt. Bill Dool, her first husband. Unfortunately Bill died in combat at a very young age. Doreen later met and married Andrew J. Demarco in North Bay. Doreen worked various retail positions in North Bay but her main focus was raising their son Christopher.

A graveside service will be held on Monday June 20th 2022 at 11am at St Mary’s cemetery. A celebration of her life will follow at her residence 190 Coreen Cres North Bay where a light lunch will be served.
