New, Dorothy (Dot)

Passed away peacefully at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on September 22nd, 2025.

Predeceased by her parents, brother and daughter. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Cecil, sons Charles “Chuck” (Edith), Bruce and daughter Shelley (Scott). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Taylor and Jennifer (Clark) and her two sisters.

Dot was less than one month short of her 90th birthday.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion given to Dot during her stay. Your thoughtfulness will never go unnoticed.
