Ferdinando (Fred) Priolo

Priolo, Ferdinando (Fred) July 29th 1937- August 14th 2021 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce Fred’s passing on Saturday August 14,  2021 with his loving family by his side. 

Fred was the devoted husband of 60 years to Heather (nee Clark). Loving father to Clark (Tammy), Andrea (Bill Albert) and Paula. Fred was the proud Bubba to Naomi, Alex, Erica and Drake. He is also survived by his sister Helen Zappala (Vince). Fred will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clement Priolo and Rosina Zimbalatti and his brothers Ralph (Shirley) and Stan (Millie).

Fred attended Scollard Hall and graduated University of Toronto with a Civil Engineering degree in 1961. His career was defined by the successful operation of GAP Construction along with his brothers Ralph and Stan. 

The family wishes to thank the staff at Cedar Lodge & Unit B1 of the North Bay Regional Health Centre and Cassellholme for the dignified care they provided to Fred.

Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services on Thursday August 26th from 9 until 12 pm. A celebration of his life will follow at 12. 

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. 

As per current COVID 19 directives the total number of attendees is limited, social distancing requirements must be respected, and masks or face coverings are required inside the funeral home.
