Gerbasi, Francesco (1935–2025)

Francesco passed away at Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Friday, August 15, 2025 at the age of 90 years.

He was survived, by his wife of 39 years, Rita Gerbasi (Goyette).  Dear father of Paul (Cyndi), Karen (Michael Kozielec), Gord (Debbie), and Christopher.  He will be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren Carla Watson (Mike), Carrie Davis (John), Kendall and Spencer as well as two great grandchildren Hunter and Aurora.  Also survived by his sister Loretta Tierney, mother-in-law Laurette Goyette his sisters-in-law Diane Belanger (Alcide), Patricia (Patsy) Goyette, Cecile Swanson (Gary), Lise Goyette (Harvey), Claire Wilson (Russell deceased), Fran Martin (Dennis) and brother-in-law Joseph Goyette (Kimberley).  Predeceased by his siblings Rita Willis, Gino Gerbasi, Henry and Ernest Gerbasi.  Francesco is also survived and remembered by Shirley. 

In keeping with his wishes, at this time there will be no visitation or service.  A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
